Lightning von Muddy is an adorable 8 week old German Shepherd (mix?) puppy.

Hi, I'm Lightening! I guess they named me after all the crazy weather we have been having in California, but unlike the big booms with the scary lights from the sky that make a big sound, I just want to be snuggled in your lap and the only sounds I make are little grunting noises because I am so happy. I was rescued from the Fresno area with my 8 siblings when someone went there saying they found us! I'm not sure if that is true, but it doesn't matter because thankfully we were all rescued by Westside German Shepherd Rescue! We don't know where our mommy and daddy are, and I hope they are safe like we are! We were placed in foster homes and although I miss my mommy and my siblings, I love the other dogs in my foster home and play and chase them all day, then nap in my foster mommy's or daddy's arms, my FAVE. My foster mommy says I am such a smart boy since I already know how to sit on command and come when she calls me, but why wouldn't I since she always gives lets me snuggle in her lap! I haven't met a person I don't love, and I just know there is a family out there that will love me as much as I will love them. Will that be you?
